Right click on the service and click "Active Service". The font for service will turn from grey to black. Then you can right click again and click "Test Service" or just run tcode SLAW2
This is the only service you need to activate. If you get a different error we can take a look at that but this step will take care of your first error

Thanks for the screenshot. It appears I don't have it available in the system to pick from. If I try and filter or search for it it doesn't show up as a possible option.
SLAW2 is intended to be used by a central hub to collect and collate the data from all your audited systems, i.e. use this in your Solution Manager system. If you have SolMan 7.1, that will be on a NW 7.02 basis, and with current support packs SLAW2 will be available. In your other systems, you still run USMM as usual.

This is kind of non-obvious, isn't it? What you inadvertently did was activate Local Tab Order, which isn't quite the same as reversing the tab direction. With CTRL-SHIFT-O, you set the field your cursor was in at the time on that screen as the tab exit point. To undo it, while in that same screen and with the cursor in one of the fields, hit CTRL and right-click. You'll get this menu:
Select Configure Local Tab Order (or hit SHIFT-CTRL-L), and in the next screen you'll see the field technical name listed as Exit Point. Hit the Delete button to the right of it to clear the tab order back to default.
That should fix it.

Also, while it might seem like a Technology Foundation question, this is actually related to SAPGUI functionality, so a better space for it would be SAP GUI.
One additional note: ECC (of any EhP version) is not installed as an add-on to a NetWeaver ABAP system. You install ECC instead of NetWeaver ABAP (ECC includes NetWeaver ABAP). So, there is no purpose to installing NetWeaver first, then installing ECC over the top of it. There is also no purpose to installing anything from SAP ahead of a system copy (except perhaps diagnostics agents and your database platform), as SWPM will itself install the target system as part of the system copy process.

Hello Dinesh,
There is no certain rule for memory usage of a table.
It changes according to the usage of the table, memory size of the instance.
System manages the memory usage according to the memory parameters.
As I said I haven't seen any parameter special for table memory usage.

Thanks Matt! Yeah, I couldn't find anything at all regarding this so I guess I'm the first to accidentally do it. Sheesh, they sure buried the fix deep on this one. You would think you could just hit the same combination again to turn it off. Oh well, as you said very non-obvious! And thanks for the quick reply...it was about to drive me nuts having to click into the next field every time. I'll move this over to the GUI area. I had actually posted it elsewhere and they suggested the Technology Foundation area.
I recently upgraded to SAP 740 and was playing around with the Enhanced Search function. I mistakenly read the key combination in the second option as Ctrl+Shift+O when it should have been Ctrl+Shift+Q. Anyway, when I used the Ctrl+Shift+O feature it has now reversed the direction that my cursor goes when I try to tab between fields. I tried to Google Ctrl+Shift+O for SAP and every key combination but the one I searched for came up. Anyone know how to turn this feature off such that my cursor will tab normally through the fields?

The best solution here is to re-install or do a system copy of an EHP4 system (source) to the target system. The kernel used by a 7.4 release SAP system is not compatible with an EHP4 system.
The profiles in a 7.4 based system contains not START profile.
The best option in your case is to download the SWPM and start the System copy - Target system creation using DB specific backup and restore and setup the target system.
Restore the database when the installer prompts and continue with the post copy operations.

I have questions regarding SAP content server backup restore, we are storing our documents on sap content server file system we have created content repositories in SAP R3 and it is linked with content server file system(folders) using parameter Storage FileSystemStorage.dll.
We have two drives for example D and F which has all the content repositories with documents, now if i take backup of only these file systems (folders) is it enough? as we are not storing documents in MAX DB , In case of restore i can just install a fresh content server with max db and copy this file systems (folders) to the new server and link with SAP R3 again will this be ok? or i need to take backup of max db as well along with these file systems (folders)?

Issue solved.
Had to update the kernel files
I know this is an old post, but I had a similar issue and wanted to share how we fixed it. Rather than restoring the entire directory you can use SUM or TELNET to do a forced deployment of the component LMNWAUIFRMRK. The missing files are in it, and they will be re-associated properly after you deploy them back into your system. Notes 1824237 and 1921719 are very helpful.
